It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Bayrak (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on April 28, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sister Lydia Schultz. She is survived by: her brother Dennis (Doris); her nieces, Christine (Wayne) and Darcia (Jordon); her nephew Michael (Laurie); her great-nieces, Myarose, Enya and Aviana; and her great-nephew Weston.

“I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Vera - she was a delightful lady, for whom my husband and I had great affection. I worked with her at the Attorney General Dept between 1980 - 83. I then returned to England but kept in touch with her, originally with letters and cards and then emails. We last visited her in 2011, went to dinner after spending the afternoon with her. As ever great company and entertaining. Our visit to Canada was specifically to see Vera - I‘m glad I did. Condolences J.T.”
