She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Burgoyne and Rena Burgoyne (Beach); her husband Elsworth Kennard; her children, Cheryl Ann Kennard and Percy Ernest "Lynn" Kennard; her grandsons, Michael and Justin; and her siblings, Hazel MacQueen, Norma Larlee, Lottie Harrison, Hattie Green, Ross and Bruce Burgoyne.
She is survived by: her children, Grace Steele (Carmen) of Hall's Harbour, NS, Carol Clark of Fredericton, NB, Jill Warawa of Fort St, Susan Holmes (Peter) of Edmonton, AB, Lee Kennard (Margaret) of Ignace, ON, Bruce Kennard (Diane) of Sioux Lookout, ON, Douglas Kennard (Bev) of Fort McLeod, AB and Sterling Kennard (Erma) of Edmonton, AB. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Because of the ongoing situation with the Covid-19 virus, a celebration of Vera's life will be held at a later date.
