Verda Jean Drinkwater Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Verda Jean Drinkwater (Edmonton, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 2, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Don; her daughter Dawn; her parents, Arthur and Mary; and her siblings, Lorna, Shirley, Robert, Garfield, Dianne and Alvin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Corinne Newman (Bob) and Tami Coon (Ty); her grandchildren, Stacey (Brad), Lisa (JR), Jerri-Lea (Trevor), Bret, Ryan, Melissa (Lou), Teena and Whitney; and her great grandchildren, Jaret (Sarah), McKenna, Rowan, Natasha, Zeigen, Calli, Owen and Lyndan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Verda's name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
