He was predeceased by: his parents, Otylia (Hirschfeld) and Elmer Mantai. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Kerrianne (Brandon) and Lance (Leanne); and his siblings, Peggy (Jake), Bev (Ted) and Cliff (Karen). He is also survived by his grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
