We announce the death of Vernon Wandler (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on September 3, 2026. Vernon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his former wife Bertha; and his brother Gerald. He is survived by: his wife Maxine; his sons, Paul (Johnna), James and Aaron; his grandchildren, Shaylynn (Chase), Mackenzie (Pierce), Taylor, Cassandra (Matt), Lauryn, Kurt (Morgan) and Trey; his great grandchildren, Wesley and Raina; and his siblings, James, Don, Gwen, Delphine, Linda, Madeline and Donna. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
