She is survived by: her husband Ekkehard Kottke; her mother Ruth Krafft; her children, Iris Routledge, Barbara Andrews (David) and Adrian Kottke (Gina); her grandchildren, Sarah, Lisa (Daniel), Amy (Calvin), Meghan (Thomas), Stephanie (Brent), Adelle, Ana, Kira and Ethan; her great grandchildren, Rupert, Hadwin and Aspen; and her sister Erika Merkel.

A private graveside service will be held on January 12th with a celebration of life at a later date when Covid restrictions are eased.

“I'm so sorry for the passing away. But actually I am writing as I have no other way to contact you. I just found a letter sent by Ekkehard Kottke, 1334 2nd Ave N.W. Moose Jaw, Sask. Canada to my father back in 1957. I wonder whether this Ekkehard is the one who lost his living wife back in 2021. If so, maybe he will enjoy to know that my father Günter Vierke - called Master - who was apparently a bricklayer together with Ekkehard, Harry and Otto is still alive and aged 91y.
