Vivian leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Vivian’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Vivian will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick Messina; and her parents, William Monk and Muriel Monk. She is survived by: her siblings, Irene Sviatko, Paul Monk (Janet), Jim Monk, Fred Monk and Joan Blais (Robert).
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Theresa's Catholic Parish (7508 29 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6K3Y8). A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (3157 Erlton St SW, Calgary, AB T2S2V7).
