He was predeceased by: his parents, Earland Anderson and Mabel Anderson; his siblings, Marion Anderson, Marjorie Marks (Arthur) and Bea Thomson (Joe); and his brother-in-law Henry Lindstedt.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Young; his children, Brad Anderson, Yvette Rothweiler (Ron), Rod Anderson and Natalie Lane (Chad); his grandchildren, Steven, Eric, Jasmine Rothweiler, Ashton, Kyle Anderson and Braxton Lane; his great grandchild Artemis Anderson; and his siblings, Charles Anderson (Ruth) and Earlene Lindstedt. He is also survived by many other family members, friends.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions a Private Family Memorial Celebration will be held, pending the phase 3 Covid-19 announcement.
