He was predeceased by: his wife Sheila Parris; his siblings, Randolph, Francis and Phyliss; his parents, Ethelbert Burgess and Dorothy Burgess; and his niece June Whiskey.
He is survived by: his son Deryck; his daughter-in-law Cathy; and his sibling's children, Patsy Burgess and Keneth Burgess. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in Whitmore Burgess's name to The Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer Society or Kidney Foundation of Canada.
