Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved William Allister Gillespie (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away at the age of 96, on January 3, 2026. Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his wife Leslie Gillespie (Brygadyr). He is survived by: his daughters, Karen and Keynyn; his grandchildren, Rowan, Noah and Riley; and his sisters-in-law, Bunny (Bob) and Susan (Ron). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
