It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Thomas Card (Edmonton, Alberta), born in Grande Prairie, Alberta, who passed away on January 19, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob and Audrey; and his brother Don. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his son Alec (Kristy); his granddaughter Evelyn; his brother Jim (Valerie); his sister-in-law Val; and his cousins, Marian and Gord (Cheryl). He is also survived by two nieces and four nephews, along with numerous extended family.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Evergreen Funeral Home (16204 Fort Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T5Y6A2). A reception was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Evergreen Reception Center (16204 Fort Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T5Y6A2).
