William Ekkelenkamp Obituary
We bid farewell to William Ekkelenkamp (Edmonton, Alberta), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 13, 2025 at the age of 95. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, William is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that William's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Melissa Ekkelenkamp; and his siblings, Sina Land (Jan) and Jan Ekkelenkamp (Johanna). He is survived by: his wife Astrid; his children, Sidney (Judy Ekkelenkamp), Arlene (Roy Vandekamp), Donald (Rose Ekkelenkamp) and Chris Ekkelenkamp; and his sister Mien Prins (Henk). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
