It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Clarence Fentie in Edmonton, Alberta, who passed away on February 18, 2026, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Laura; and his siblings, Duncan of Fairview and Irene of Peace River. He is survived by: his daughters, Heather Meindertsma (Elko) and Patricia Coulter of Edmonton; his grandsons, Richard, David, Matthew and Blaine; his great grandchildren, Josh, Bailey, Elijah, Rayna, Danica and Ezekiel; his sister-in-law Jean Fentie of Fairview, Alberta.; and his daughter-in-law Laura Cunningham of Fairview.

In lieu of flower tributes, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories.
