He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dorthy Yelland, Anita Lawrence, Kay Meier, Donald, Manfel and Alfred Parkin.
He is survived by: his son Doug Parkin of Onoway; and his siblings, Carol Bie of Edmonton and Edgar Parkin of Devon. He is also survived by nieces a nephews.
