He is survived by: his wife Dixie Wierenga; his children, Karen, Mark (Debbie), Ann (Duncan), Joan (Andrew) and Elaine; his grandchildren, Lucas (Jill), Maria, Zach (Renae), Abby (Lukas), Sam, Ben and Emma; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Elias, Rose, Francis and Lochlan; his sister-in-law Audrey (Wilco); Jean (Clarence).
