We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2025, at the age of 77, Leonard Ray Findlay of Edson, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Findlay and Marie Findlay; his former wife Bonnie Findlay; his siblings, Nancy Desjarlais, Vivian Holopainen, Linda Findlay, Allan Findlay, Lloyd Findlay, Raymond Findlay and Peter Findlay; and his sister-in-law Madeleine Findlay.
He is survived by: his wife Louise; his children, Christopher Findlay (Michelle Honeyman), Garfield Findlay (Tara), Jennifer Findlay (Ken Markham), Cheryl Findlay, Gerri Kolasa (Matt), Micheal Beier (Anna Oostenbrink) and Tracy Beier (Lesley Davidson); his brothers, Danny Findlay Sr. and John Findlay (Valerie); and his brother-in-law Ahti Holopainen. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Parish (4803 6 Ave, Edson, AB T7E1E1).
