She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Burkinshaw and Hazel Burkinshaw; her brother Gordon Burkinshaw; and her brothers-in-law, Richard Stelfox, Paul Bovy and Brian Wilton.
She is survived by: her husband Perry Wheat; her son Nathan Wheat; her stepson Nigel Wheat (Regan Stang); her grandchildren, Moya Wheat and Rankin Wheat; her stepdaughter Brenna Wheat; her grandchildren, Remmington Wheat and Lyra Clancy Wheat; her siblings, Mervin Burkinshaw (Sandra), Marlene Bovy and Rosanne Wilton; her sister-in-law Beth Burkinshaw; and her uncle Walter Burkinshaw. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #51 (5016 5 Ave, Edson, AB T7E1T4).
