It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Sims of Edson, Alberta, born in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, who passed away on December 30, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her son Hugh Perkins; her parents, Pierre Malbeouf and Elizabeth Malbeouf; and her siblings, Rosy, Leah, Harry, Joseph, Eli, Donald, Eugene and Mike.

She is survived by : her husband Allan Sims; her son Ralph Perkins; and her granddaughter Ashley MacIver (Elden).
