William John Miller Obituary

We bid farewell to William John Miller (Edson, Alberta), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 8, 2025 at the age of 87. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Miller (Bill) and Mary Desjarlais; his significant other Vanessa Tanton; his son William Andrew Miller; his sisters, Bertha and Pansy; his half-brother Lorne Peterson; and his stepfather Jonas Axel Peterson.

He is survived by: his children, Heather Fitt (Paul), Edwina Miller, Carmen Miller and Christopher Miller; his grandchildren, Ashley Roberts (James), Jeremy Fitt, Alyssa Miller, Andrew Miller and Jared Miller; his great grandchild Tallulah Miller; and his half-sister Lorna Murka (Bill). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Royal Canadian Legion Dominion Command Poppy Trust Fund or Valour Place in his name.
