With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Charles Leroy Hiar of Elk Point, Alberta, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Hiar and May Hiar; his sisters, Virginia Hobbs, Rose Duddy and Irene Musse; his brothers-in-law, Sid Emerson, Fred, John, Vernon and Allan Ruttan; and also Phil Connolly.
He is survived by: his wife June; his daughter Norma; his grandson Shawn; his daughter Brooklyn Connolly of Lloydminster, AB; his granddaughter Alicia; his great grandchild Kaydence of Kelowna, B. C.; his son Don (Terri-Lee) of Bonnyville, AB; his grandchildren, Austin of Bonnyville, AB, Colton (Shyla) of Edmonton, AB and Shelby (Linden); his siblings, Betty Lapinski of Edmonton, AB and Earl (Clarene); and his sister-in-law Marj Emerson of Lloydminster, AB. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 5402 Twp 562, Elk Point, AB.
