The family announces the passing of Deanna Fakeley (Elk Point, Alberta) on September 21, 2026. Deanna, born on November 13, 1943, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Nelson and Olive Nelson (Gallagher); her in-laws, Vera and Alfred Fakeley; and her son-in-law Albin Leaf.
She is survived by: her husband Gordon; her children, Carl (Jennifer), Gayle and Melanie (Trevor); her granddaughters, Kathryn, Sofia (Ariel), Emily, Clare, Amanda (Brett), Stephanie (Mason), Seanna-Joye (Tanner), Olivia Rose (Drew), Julia (Emma) and Cassandra; her great grandchildren, Clark, Kate, Barrett and Nico; and her sister Donna Burnet. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Elk Point Allied Arts Centre (4605 57 Ave, Elk Point, AB T0A1A0).
