Mary Smith Obituary
We announce the death of Mary Smith (Elk Point, Alberta), who passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 86. Mary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald; her sons, Ray and Reg; her brother Harry; her parents, Edward and Helena; and her close friend Everett Campbell.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald (Teresa), Tammy Singer (Joe), Robert (Sherry), Roger (Deena) and Tanya Beniuk (Edward); and her brother Edward. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, extended family, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Elk Point Seniors Centre (5010 48 St, Elk Point, AB T0A1A0).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory may be made to Haying in the 30's (Cancer support society), ℅ 5626- 51 Street, St.Paul, AB T0A 3A1 – a charity that was very special to her.
