Mike Oryshchuk Obituary
We bid farewell to Mike Oryshchuk of Elk Point, Alberta, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 8, 2025 at the age of 87. Mike touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie; his parents, Peter Oryshchuk and Annie Oryshchuk; his brothers, James (Edna) and John; his nephews, Blake Oryschuk and Nick Jankovic; and his parents-in-law, Mike and Helen Trach.
He is survived by: his close friend Vivian Williams; his sister Katherine Shymkiw; his sisters-in-law, Joyce Oryshchuk and Florence Drobot (Orest); his sibling's children, Tracy Loughran (Allan), Blain Oryshchuk (Sellena), Rebecca Jankovic and Deanna Brady (Jonathan); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tyler (Kendra), Dylon (Jenna), Jarred (Sarah), Michael, Scott (Jasmine), Kelty, Jackson and Brydee-Lea; Lennyn, Rowyn, Josie and Blakelynn. He is also survived by numerous other nieces & nephews.
A memorial service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Elk Point Seniors Centre (5010 48 St, Elk Point, AB T0A1A0).
