He was predeceased by : his wife Margaret Ethel Smith; his siblings, Martin, Michael and Eileen; his sister-in-law Daphne; and his father Felix Devasia.

He is survived by : his sons, Peter (Trish) and Steven (Sue); his grandchildren, Phillipa (Dave), Jonathon (Tara), Alex and Charlotte; his great grandchildren, Ethan and Fionn; his brothers, Paddy and John D (Dora); and his sister-in-law Sheila (Peter). He is also survived by special friends and other extended family.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (4708 50 Ave, Drayton Valley, AB T7A1E1). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
