He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Prybysh and Nina Prybysh. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Natalie Lavigne (Pierre), Michael (Crystal), Nicole Schuler and Nadine Schmidt (Martin); his grandchildren, Ginette, Isabelle, Marc Lavigne, Mitchell, Brooklynn, Brynn Prybysh, Jaime, Emily, Declan Schuler, Allison and Xavier Schmidt; and his brother Bill Prybysh (Germaine). He is also survived by relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Park Memorial Chapel (9709 111 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5G0B2). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (11130 102 Ave, Fairview, AB T0H0B4).
