He was predeceased by : his father Albert Aune; his former life partner Jeanne Aune; and his son Erik. He is survived by : his mother Violet Aune; his sister Yvette Vanberg (Ken) of Calgary, AB; his aunts and uncles, Lance Vanberg (Jenny), Anika, Henry and Nova; and his friend Cindy Benn.
