She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Riewe and Helena Riewe; her husband Herbert Furstenwerth; her daughters, Helga and Clara; and her sons-in-law, Horst, Lenn and Mike.
She is survived by: her sister Hilda Beaudoin; her son Willie Furstenwerth (Marie); her grandchildren, Kristel Piche (Derry), Angela Liebel (Bill), Penny McKay (Lyle), Shannon Tenney (Cory), Barbara Furstenwerth, Richard Rosenow (Som) and Kurt Furstenwerth (Jill); her great grandchildren, Kelsee (Carmen), Erin (Michael), Alexandra (Tom), Ryan (Jordan), Sabrina (Cieren), Kirsten (Lucas), Rhett, Damien, Noah, Lauren, James, Lily, Magnolia, Robert, Samuel and Ally; and her great great grandchildren, Mila, Arthur, Mylan, Glenwyn, Jocelyn and Ella.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Dave Shaw Memorial Complex (712 6 Ave, Hines Creek, AB T0H2A0).
Donations in memory of Martha can be made to the Royce Lutheran Cemetery, as expressions of sympathy.
