He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton "Clif" Magnusson and Irene Magnusson; and his siblings, Patricia Bedard and Charles Magnusson. He is survived by: his wife Aline Magnusson; his children, Gisele Magnusson (Paul Bissonnette), Michele Allen (Ross) and Kevin Magnusson (Allison); his grandchildren, Kelsey Gillett (Dustin), Kyla Allen (Brett Gorham), Evan Magnusson (Shima Afhami) and Alaina Magnusson; his great grandchildren, Parker and Knox Gillett; his siblings, Lyn Young and Dennis Magnusson (Celsa); and his sister-in-law Ann Magnusson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 9812 113 St, Fairview, AB T0H1L0.
