He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bourassa and Laura Bourassa; his siblings, Oliva, Louis, Archiel and Mathilda; his in-laws, Donat and Cécile Sylvestre; and his grandson Jason Timms.
He is survived by: his wife Annette; his children, Lynne Bourassa, Diane Bourassa, Denise Sauer (Ray), Rosanne Laflamme (Mike) and Dan Bourassa (Kathrin Langlois); his grandchildren, Justin Bourassa (Manda), Matt Bourassa (Claire Steckle), Darren Laflamme (Amanda), Andrée-Anne Roy (Martin Kreiner), Chantal Laflamme, Olivier Roy, Aaron Bourassa (Ashleigh), Annika Sauer, Rylan Bourassa (Chloe Watchorn), Maya Sauer, Ashlyn Bourassa and Jaden Bourassa; his great grandchildren, Arya, Leia Bourassa, Brooks, Ty Bourassa and Koen Laflamme; and his siblings, Rosalie Paulhus, Eveline Porte (François), Bertha Andries, Hector Bourassa, Juliette Storle, Harvey Bourassa (Loretta) and Romuald Bourassa (Lois). He is also survived by many nieces & nephews and friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Martyrs Canadiens Church.
