He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugénie Dechief and Albert Dechief; his siblings, René and Doris; and his niece Rachael.
He is survived by: his wife Gabrielle; his children, Susan (Roy), Paul (Yvette) and Ray (Alysia); his grandchildren, Hunter (Natasha), Nicole, Aidan and Danielle; his siblings, Claire (Dick Gagnon) and Janine (Tony Laliberté); and his sister-in-law Françoise. He is also survived by numerous extended family members, and his many friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Club Alouette Saturday (101 Main St SW, Falher, AB T0H1M0).
