It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Wenzel (Falun, Alberta), born in Brooks, Alberta, who passed away on December 12, 2018, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer and Olive; his mother-in-law Barbara Cooper; and his siblings, Shirley Wenzel and Gordon Wenzel.

He is survived by: his wife Gayle; his children, Kristi Blouin (Jason) of Falun, AB and Sheldon Wenzel (Reiko) of Brooks, AB; his grandchildren, Keogan, Blaze, Sawyer, Kace and Bexton; his siblings, Judy Russell (Jim) of Calgary, AB, Carol Zack (Dale) of Indio, CA and Larry Wenzel (Carla) of Calgary, AB; his siblings-in-law, Lori Wenzel of Brooks and Wayne Cooper (Pam); and his father-in-law Alf Cooper of Wetaskiwin, AB. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim's memory to the Stollery Children's Hospital or Alberta Diabetes Foundation.
