He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lisa Dyck; his daughter Jennifer Johnson (Bob); his grandsons, Calvin, Connor and Bruce of Grimsby, ON; his children, Michael Dyck of Beamsville, ON and Christina Deis (David); his grandchild Avery Dyck of Bow Island, AB; his mother Maria Dyck of Alymer, ON; his siblings, John Dyck (Maria) of Alymer, ON, Maria Redekopp (Jakob) of Roland, MB and Nettie Dyck of Alymer, ON; his parents-in-law, Lesley (Raven) and Rick Cashmore of St. Thomas, ON; his sisters-in-law, Lori Howald (William) of St. Thomas, ON, Sherilynn Raven (David Cecchini) and Lesley Micallef (Steven) of Shedden, ON; his father Cornelius Dyck; his stepfather Abraham Giesbrecht; and his siblings, Frank, Daniel, Peter and Hellena. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
