He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther and Charles; his son Lorn; his brothers, Palmer, Engwald (Steva), Tryve (Peggy), Magnus, Arne and Charlie; his nephew Larry; and his brother-in-law Stu Allison.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Hougen; his sister Myrtle Allison of Lethbridge; and his sisters-in-law, Dolores (Charlie), Delores (Arne) and Isabella (Magnus). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
