Sandra (Fossen) Lassu Obituary
We announce the death of Sandra (Fossen) Lassu (Forestburg, Alberta), who passed away on May 29, 2026, at the age of 80. Sandra will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her son Darrin; her mothers, Joy Fossen and Tena Fossen; her siblings, Gwen Matier and Ron Fossen; her parents-in-law, Gordon Lassu, Kay Eshpeter and Edwin Eshpeter; her siblings-in-law, Doug Matier, Roger Dibben, Alvar Naslund, Shirley Fossen, Cori Lassu, Arlene Dibben and Donna Naslund; her nephews, Darcy Matier and Jason Jones; her niece-in-law Carolyn Fossen; and her great-nephew Ty Naslund.
She is survived by: her husband Keith Lassu of Heisler; her children, Myste Kruger (Len), Lesley Daley and Sean Lassu; her grandchildren, Travis Johnson (Sarah), Makenzee Kruger (Alex Cloutier), Lauren, Isabel and Brendan Daley; her great grandchildren, Ryder and Peyton Johnson; her siblings, Orville Fossen, Joyce Forster (Fred), Barry Fossen (Pauline) and Kathy Peake (Eddie); and her siblings-in-law, Pat Jones (Vic) and Gary Lassu. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
