With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christopher Glendon Short of Fort McMurray, Alberta, born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, who passed away on February 1, 2023 at the age of 20. He was predeceased by : his grandfather Glendon Short; and his cousin Khloe. He is survived by : his parents, Brian Short of Fort McMurray, AB and Angela Rushton of McAdam, NB.; his sisters, Shelby Short (Colton Morehouse) of Zealand, NB and Shawna Short of Woodstock, NB.; his grandparents, Joyce, Donald Green of Astle, NB, Gail and Darell Richard of Woodstock, NB; his aunts and uncles, Tammy Short, Daryl Cann of Hanwell, NB, Kelly Short-Martin, Marc Martin of Hanwell, NB, Sarah Short of Marysville, NB, Christopher Rushton of Calgary, AB and Kevin Blair; his cousins, Heather, Hilary, Rebecca, Kelsey, Zachary, Hannah and Octavia; and his close friend Dylan Highers.

In Chris' memory, a memorial fund will be set up to help people who are "down on their luck".
