She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Turgeon and Rose Turgeon; her husband Ron Hughes; her brothers, Donald, Jim, Dennis and Russell; and her sisters-in-law, Millie, Mary-Louise (Jack Zwodeski) and Pat O'Connell (Colin Burk).
She is survived by: her children, Denise (Rob Rogers), Evelyn (Trevor Stocki), Bridget, Trevor (Janet), Kevin (Kim) and Colleen (Mike); her siblings, Marguerite, Eleanor, Mary and Gerald; and her sister-in-law Rosemary.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Diane's memory to the Fort Saskatchewan Nourishment Centre and the War Amputations of Canada.
