With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Roderick MacDonald (Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John MacDonald and Gertrude MacDonald; and his brothers, John, Michael and Dennis.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his children, Heather (Shawn) and Ian (Autumn); his grandchildren, Carter, Justin, Tate and Ceilidh; and his sisters, Noreen, Margaret, Patsy (Don) and Marilyn (Dick). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
A memorial service was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Memorial Funeral Services-Riverview Chapel (11090 86 Ave, Fort Saskatchewan, AB T8L4K6).
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Donald's name to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
