He was predeceased by: his former wife Esther; his daughter-in-law Deloise; his parents, John and Sennie; and his brothers, Arthur and Gordon.

He is survived by: his wife Karolyn; his children, Lorelei Sammons (David), Darryl (Shawna) and Sheldon (Patricia); his grandchildren, Jourdyn (Jayce), Koal (Rebecca), Brittney (Brady), Brianna "Annie" (Cory) and Courtney; his great grandchildren, Sawyer and Declan; and his brothers, Roger (Doris) and Wesley (Virginia). He is also survived by children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Glendon RCMP Hall (5302 51 St, Glendon, AB T0A1P0).
