We are sad to announce that on May 4, 2025, at the age of 86, Nelson Bernard of Goodfish Lake, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Lena; his wife Annette; his son Carl Bernard; his stepchildren, Joanne, Raymond and Silver; his grandchildren, Matthew, Raymond, James, Lindsay, Christopher and Courtney; and his siblings, Laurie, Sam, David, Roland, Paul, Irene, Cecile and Cornelia.

He is survived by: his sons, Jacob Bernard (Lucille), Andy Bernard and Hughie Makokis (Janice); his stepdaughter Rachel Steinhauer; and his sisters, Sylvia Whitefish and Mary Senger. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
