We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2023, at the age of 71, Alvon Thomas Shearer of Grande Prairie, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph Shearer and Selma Shearer. He is survived by : his wife Dawn Wade; his children, Anndra Graff (Mike), Trisha Friesen (Matt), Haley Hunt (Tyler) and Blair Wade (Landon); his grandchildren, Reece, Skyler, Brynn and Zoey; and his siblings, Ed Shearer (Kristine), Blaine Shearer (Elaine) and Trudy McMillan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

For friends so wishing, donations may be made in memory of Alvie to the Canadian Lung Association.
