He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick and Rosalia; and his sister Gloria Froese. He is survived by: his wife Gale; his daughters, Carla and Nicole (Tyler); his grandson Leon; his sisters, Annie (Ken) and Elena; and his nieces and nephews, Charlene (Steven), Ashley (Cael), Gerry, Scotty (Tanya) and Aaron (Katelyn). He is also survived by great-niece and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Rocky Lane Agricultural Society Hall.
