She was predeceased by : her mother Marianne Fleric; and her close friend Snoopy. She is survived by : her father Hans Fleric; her close friend Kirby Nastiuk; her daughters, Kayla, Sarah Nastiuk, Maygan Gosse and Taylor Stone; her grandchildren, Sarah and Hunter Stone; her former life partner Dan Szun; her pet Finnigan; her sister Stephanie Skrypec (Russel); her nephew Eric Skrypec; her niece Nicole Skrypec; and also, Andrew and Jessica Szun.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association at cmha.ca in her memory.
