She is survived by: her husband Fred Schenk; her children, Cam Schenk (Karen), Kent Schenk (Pam) and Dave Schenk (Sheyla); her grandchildren, Luke (Hazelle), Brett (Sarah), Kaylin (Trevor), Mitchell, Kara-Lynn, Samuel, Jacquelyn and Rowan; her great grandchildren, Micah, Judah, Amalie, Saffron, Fletcher and Olsen; and her sister Lorene. She is also survived by her family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of choice in Ilene's name, or to a foundation dedicated to lung health research.
