We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2024, at the age of 68, John Gerard Van (Grande Prairie, Alberta) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his son Taylor Van of Pol; his grandson Drake Bruce; and his parents, Johanna Van and Marius Van of Pol. He is survived by : his wife Shelley; his children, Toni Lasell (Greg), Kane Bruce, Teresa Van of Pol and Jeni Bruce; his grandchildren, Sira, Tyra, Ethan, Shania, Kael, Shane, Zachary, Connor, Tanner, Xander, Haley, Mackenzie, Sawyer, Rylie, Ryder and Easton; his great grandchildren, Madison, Emery and Rowen; his siblings, Francisca Kelham (Rob), Rick Van (Deb) of Pol and Elly Tardiff (Lorne); and his siblings-in-law, Dave Bruce (Denise), Chad Olson, Sari Bilodeau (Mike) and Ruth Barnes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins as well as many dear friends.
