With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Henry Williams (Grande Prairie, Alberta), born in Edmonton, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 6, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Williams and Ruth Williams (Emmott); his brothers, Louis Williams, Edward Williams (Elva) and Harold Williams (Margaret); and his parents-in-law, Ernest, Vivian Egger and Dorothy Egger (Richard).
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Egger (John); his nieces, Thelma Tipping (Leighton) of Penarth and Elaine (Williams); his brother Richard Egger; his sister-in-law Beverley; and his grandchildren, Gordon of Dunnville, ON, Shirley Egger of Dunnville, ON, Nancy Bidewell (Donald) of Grande Prairie, AB and Ronald Egger (Beverley) of North Cobalt, ON.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bear Creek Funeral Home (11802 99 Ave, Grande Prairie, AB T8W0C7). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Jul Funeral Service.
