He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie and Lilo; his sister Inge; and his brothers-in-law, Otto and Wally.
He is survived by: his wife Lynne Shaw of Wanham; his children, Michael and Melissa (Ryan); his sisters, Sigrid and Ruth; his grandsons, Levi (Riley) and John; his great grandchild Oliver; and his sister-in-law Peggy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
