It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marie Lowen (Grande Prairie, Alberta), who passed away on December 18, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Lowen; her son Walter Lowen (Milly); her parents, George Bartsch and Aganetha Bartsch; her siblings, John Bartsch, Anna Ladwig, Tina Bakkehaug (Ole) and Jake Bartsch (Annie); and her siblings-in-law, George Lowen (Ruth), Jake Peters and Mary Torgerson (Torger).
She is survived by: her brother David Bartsch (Ivy); her siblings-in-law, Arnold Ladwig, David Lowen (Shirley), Frank Lowen (Trudy), Margaret Peters, Tina Pierson and Susie Bartsch; and her children, Frieda Bratland (Harold), Hilda Harder (Lin), Loretta Sherard (Bob) and Roger Lowen (Tammy). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
