It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sakina Ekyoci (Grande Prairie, Alberta), who passed away on August 31, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Fula Mfaume. She is survived by: her children, Lyango Mfaume, Ernest Mfaume, Yeremia Mfaume, Tamala Mfaume, Mwavita Mfauma, Ongaobe Mfaume and Neema Mfaume; her grandchildren, Elyite Mfaume, Amnobe Dunia, Sakina Ekyoci and Asende Mfaume; and her great grandchildren, Jile Mwavita, Naabwe and Ungwa Fredina Kasongo. She is also survived by 45 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Forbes Presbyterian Church (9635 76 Ave, Grande Prairie, AB T8V5B3).
