He is survived by : his granddaughter Jennifer; his spouse Shirley McGill; his children, Darrel Nash, Brianna Wiebe, Sara McGill-Hein (Quinten Hein) and Jennifer McGill; his grandson Nathaniel Wiebe; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Claire Welygan, Connor Welygan and Carson Welygan; his siblings, David McGill (Debbie Beaulieu) and Sandra McGill (John Burback); his nieces and nephews, Kyle McGill, Amber McGill (Cody Welygan), Nathan McGill, Ben McWhirter, Caitlyn McWhirter, Amanda-Lynn McGill (Nicholas McGill), Derrick Kirkness and Leonard Kirkness; his aunt Moira Markle; and his cousins, Andrew Markle, Adrian Markle, Ken Isaac, Don Isaac, Bonnie Cyr and Julene Isaac (Dan Brubaker).

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Old Burnt River Bible Camp (770053 AB-2, Fairview, AB T0H1L0).
