She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolf Pewe and Paula Pewe; and her nephew Christian Pewe. She is survived by: her husband Ewald Tanda; her sons, Michael Tanda and Kevin Tanda (Nikki Schulz); her grandchildren, Alex and Mikayla; and her siblings, Peter Pewe, Grete Pewe (Michael Pech) and Hinrich Pewe (Jessica). She is also survived by numerous niece and nephews.
